With your knowledge and experience, you ensure that import and export shipments run smoothly from start to finish. You manage a dedicated customer portfolio and contribute to strengthening these relationships. Ocean freight is your main domain, complemented by road transport when needed. Thanks to regular sailings, we can respond quickly to our customers. Flexibility is our strength, and the best part? You’re on it.

How you do this? With plenty of freedom and trust, you have the space to handle things your way. From general cargo to dangerous goods and LCL or FCL, you manage it all effortlessly. Because we operate worldwide and with a variety of cargo types, no day is the same. It’s exactly this variety and challenge that allows you to deliver top service and build strong customer relationships every single day. You achieve this by:

• handling customer orders, processing them in CargoWise, and setting up the corresponding ocean freight and road transport (import, export, LCL, FCL);
• requesting and negotiating rates and issuing quotes;
• handling claims and ensuring the best solution for the customer;
• maintaining contact with customers, DSV offices, co-loaders, and carriers;
• monitoring ongoing shipments and troubleshooting issues.

You bring

• a minimum of 3 years of experience in a role as a freight forwarder, logistics coordinator or expediter, with a focus on ocean freight;
• knowledge of dangerous goods and various logistics flows is a plus;
• good command of English, Dutch is a plus;
• a strong personality, you are a self-starter, and able to handle peak periods effectively.
