You get it done

You have got this. Our import team handles around 100 shipments per person, per month. Easy for you, right? Sure, because you already have got a few solid years of experience managing ocean freight imports. You know the ropes. You are a pro. That means you know how to keep customers happy, make fast deliveries happen, and spot the details when it comes to closing files. Bam! Another satisfied customer: You’re on it.

How you do this? We trust you to run things your way. You bring the knowledge, from Incoterms to building strong relationships, and you still love getting hands-on with the daily operations. Whether it is processing orders in CargoWise, booking shipments, consolidating freight, setting up transport, handling documents, talking to customers, or making sure everything arrives on time. You have got it covered. You achieve this by:

• converting customer requests into bookings, organizing import sea freight and finalizing dossiers; 
• verifying transport documentation in accordance with Incoterms and customer agreements; 
• instructing our customs department to prepare T1 documents and custom clearances;
• identifying deviations during transport, updating customers and the handling of claims.

You bring

• a positive vibe and a can-do attitude, you take initiative and know where to jump in;
• a few years of hands-on experience with managing ocean freight imports or exports;
• bonus points if you know your way around LCL and FCL shipments;
• you are confident in English and speak Dutch at least at B1 level.
