With your project-based approach and in-depth WMS expertise, you will independently implement customer solutions and be actively involved in automation projects that directly contribute to the digitisation and optimisation of our processes: you’re on it. 

How you do this? You translate internal and external customer needs into smart WMS configurations, independently lead implementations, migrations, and automation projects, and ensure that complex processes are designed efficiently and practically. You work closely with IT, BCM, and fellow engineers, coach team members, and make sure that technical solutions perfectly align with operational practice. You achieve this by:

• proactively suggesting improvements and solutions for our WMS;
• independently leading customer implementations, migrations, and automation projects;
• translating complex logistical and operational requirements into clear system configurations and functional specifications;
• acting as the main point of contact for subject matter expertise and ensuring successful implementation and optimisation.

Your team stands out within DSV by the combination of technical expertise and collaboration, you work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, IT specialists, and business change managers on innovative WMS solutions and the continuous optimisation of our logistics processes.

You bring

• extensive experience in warehouse logistics or an IT-related role, with knowledge of WMS, SQL, and preferably automation/ mechanisation;
• analytical and decisive, able to translate operational and customer needs into practical system solutions;
• enthusiasm and energy to guide junior and mid-level colleagues and independently lead projects;
• strong communication skills in Dutch and English, with a relevant bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, IT, or a comparable field.
