Are you an enthusiastic student with a passion for facility management or procurement, and looking for a challenging internship? Then look no further! Our facility department is offering a challenging assignment starting in 2025 where you can really make a difference.

Our facility department provides support in the areas of procurement, building management, maintenance and security for all our locations. In addition, we provide service-oriented services such as catering, cleaning and waste management, so that the business process continues to function optimally: You’re on it. 

How you do this? One of the assignments you can work on during your internship is the optimisation of our facilities management system. Your task will be to help set up and implement this. In doing so, you will be in close contact with various departments within DSV. You achieve this by:

• taking stock of what the operation needs and translating this into a practical set-up of the new system;
• entering all facility items into the system and giving them a unique identification number;
• ensuring that annual inspections of these items are linked and entered into the system correctly. 

Your team stands out within DSV for their knowledge of technology and installations. It is a close team, consisting of 25 to 30 colleagues, spread over 5 locations in Venlo. We work hard, but there is always room for a joke.

You bring

• a good dose of enthusiasm and independence; 
• you are studying an MBO-education in the direction of Facility Management, Hospitality or similar. Or you are studying an HBO-education and are looking for a collaborative internship;
• you are available for a period of at least 12 weeks;
• you have a strong command of the Dutch language. Do you also speak quite a bit of English? Then that is certainly a plus! 

It all counts for this vacancy of facility intern in Venlo. Furthermore, it is of course important that you feel at home with us. That will certainly be possible if you like to keep going, have guts and want to grow with DSV.
