Your department at Tjalkkade, Venlo is the beating heart of the front and back office. No two days are the same: you guide your team, solve customer inquiries, and keep processes running seamlessly. You play a central role in ensuring everything runs efficiently and with a customer-focused approach: you’re on it. 

How you do this? As a team leader customer service, you are the link between the team, the processes, and the customer. You plan, organise, and coordinate all front- and back-office activities, ensuring everyone knows what is expected of them. You guide and coach your team, give clear instructions, and actively share your knowledge and experience so employees can grow in their roles. You monitor progress and quality closely, intervene when necessary, and ensure customer inquiries and challenges are handled efficiently and professionally. You also make sure resources are used optimally so processes run smoothly and everyone can work effectively.

You are constantly working on improving how the team functions. You implement and coordinate process and system changes, monitor execution, and report to the Warehouse Manager. You actively participate in internal meetings and client discussions, provide input for improvements, and ensure the team achieves its agreed objectives. Through your leadership and organisational skills, you create an environment in which employees are motivated, collaborate efficiently, and contribute to an outstanding customer experience. You achieve this by:

  • planning, organising, and coordinating front- and back-office activities;
  • guiding, coaching, and motivating your team;
  • implementing and improving processes and systems, providing solutions, and ensuring an optimal customer and team experience.

Your team stands out within DSV because of the central role it plays in the front and back office, where collaboration, knowledge sharing and customer focus are at the heart of daily operations. Together, they solve customer inquiries, continuously improve processes and support each other, ensuring that both the internal organisation and our customers are always optimally served. This department is located at Tjalkadde in Venlo.

You bring

  • experience in leading and coaching a team within a customer-focused or logistics environment;
  • knowledge of front- and back-office processes, systems, and administrative tasks;
  • strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to set priorities and solve problems independently;
  • fluent in both Dutch and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
