Are you an experienced logistics team leader ready for the next step? In this day shift position, you will manage the outbound department together with a supervisor. You combine leadership with logistical insight and ensure that the final product perfectly meets customer requirements.

You get it done

Outbound is the last logistical link in our warehouse: you’re on it. 

How you do this? You are the first point of contact for employees, guide processes and keep an overview. You know how to put the right people in the right place and align staffing levels with the workload. With your experience in WMS systems, picking, packing, loading and unloading, you make sure everything runs smoothly and quality always remains high. You achieve this by:

• planning and distributing daily outbound activities in a multiclient environment;
• identifying and resolving operational challenges before they escalate;
• coaching, motivating and addressing your team members;
• liaising with the employment agency and conducting conversations with warehouse employees;
• contributing to process improvements and customer-oriented optimisations.

Your team stands out within DSV by for its strong team spirit and the fun you have working together every day. Together with the supervisor, 2 inbound team leaders and the warehouse manager, you ensure the outbound department runs like a well-oiled machine.

You bring

• experience in managing teams within a logistics (3PL) environment;
• knowledge of WMS systems and outbound processes;
• good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
