Are you the colleague with two right hands, a keen eye for technical details, and a love for hands-on work? In our dynamic Advanced Nutrition environment, you’ll make sure everything in and around the building keeps running smoothly, so operations never have to stop!

You get it done

In our logistics environment, you're indispensable when it comes to keeping the building running and resolving technical issues quickly. You work according to clear procedures and safety rules, contributing every day to a safe and smooth operation: you're on it!

How do you do this? You work closely with your regular teammate to solve technical malfunctions, carry out small to medium maintenance, and record reports in our TopDesk system. Whether it’s replacing locks, rehanging a fridge door, fixing bumpers, repairing lighting, or calling in external specialists for bigger jobs. You make sure everything keeps running. You're also flexible when needed, even if it means getting on the roof at the end of the day. You achieve this by:

• independently resolving breakdowns and jumping on maintenance tasks as soon as they arise;
• taking initiative with technical or facility issues and coming up with practical solutions;
• supervising external contractors or suppliers and ensuring their work runs smoothly;
• taking on a broad range of facility tasks: from relocations and refurbishments to managing stock and spare parts.

Your team stands out within DSV for its strong collaboration, informal atmosphere, and hands-on mentality. You’ll work closely with your regular teammate, solving technical challenges together quickly and efficiently. With a good sense of humor and close coordination with departments like QHSE, Security, Procurement, and Operations, you make sure the warehouse keeps running like clockwork.

You bring

• technical or facility experience (for example as a technician, caretaker, or maintenance assistant) and the motivation to grow in a practical, varied role;
• a hands-on mindset, a category B driving licence, and the flexibility to stay a bit longer when needed to keep operations running;
• the right certifications or willingness to obtain them via DSV such as VCA, forklift, and reach truck certificates;
• good command of Dutch (basic English is a bonus) and familiarity with MS Office.
