Working in our facility department means variety, independence, and making an impact across all our Venlo locations: you’re on it. 

How you do this? By providing technical and facility support in our warehouses – whether you're fixing a stretch wrapper or installing a new tap. You ensure that installations, equipment, and facilities continue to function optimally. This includes troubleshooting, carrying out small to medium repairs independently, and inspecting and maintaining technical systems. You’ll also supervise external contractors for larger jobs, keeping an eye on safety, quality, and progress. You achieve this by:

• independently resolving malfunctions and responding to technical reports on-site;
• supporting planned maintenance and performing various repairs on equipment and installations;
• coordinating external suppliers and ensuring compliance with safety regulations during work;
• actively identifying technical or process bottlenecks and suggesting structural improvements. 

Your team stands out within DSV by its strong sense of unity, teamwork, and a collegial atmosphere. You’ll be part of a facility group of fourteen dedicated colleagues who always have each other’s backs. You’ll also collaborate closely with departments such as QHSE, Security, and Procurement. This teamwork ensures smooth facility operations and processes across the board.

You bring

• technical knowledge and experience – for example, in process technology, facility services, or as a technician;
• a Category B driving licence and willingness to be on-call and travel between nearby locations (within a 1.5 km radius);
• a valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one through DSV;
• proficiency in both Dutch and English.
