You get it done

For our groupage shipments to and from France and Belgium, you are the mastermind behind the routes. You puzzle, plan, and are always on the lookout for the most efficient and cost-effective transport solutions. You communicate smoothly with colleagues, keep close contact with customers, and provide our route planners with the right information. Thanks to your insights, our trucks do not just run full, they run on time as well. Smart planning, tight teamwork, and making every mile count; you’re on it.

How you do this? With energy, a clear overview, and plenty of logistics know how. Every day, around 40 trucks are on the road between France, Belgium, and The Netherlands. Together with your 11 colleagues, you make sure everything runs like clockwork. From the first loading point to the last pallet unloaded. You keep track of ongoing transports, instantly see which trucks still need to be loaded, and coordinate effortlessly with the cross-dock, customers and colleagues. You handle the correct paperwork, spot any irregularities, and take action when needed. Happy customer? Great. on to the next trip! You achieve this by:

• processing incoming orders via CargoLink;
• handling loading location inquiries, providing license plate and ensuring necessary transport documentation is completed;
• responding to customer inquiries, updating them on transport statuses and proactively checking for shipments ready for transport;
• collaborating with DSV locations, internal colleagues and providing input to route planners.

You bring

• work experience in a transport or logistics company, for example as a transport planner, freight forwarder, transport coordinator, or customer service representative;
• an energetic personality, social and confident in expressing your opinion;
• strong organizational skills, a knack for spotting logic, and the ability to bring energy to the logistics flow;
• good command of Dutch and English; French is a plus.
