An efficient transport planning operation where drivers, customers and transport capacity are perfectly aligned: you’re on it. 

How you do this? As a transport planner, you are responsible for planning domestic transport operations from our Tilburg location. You monitor ongoing trips, communicate continuously with drivers and colleagues, and ensure transport orders are carried out safely, efficiently and on time. You achieve this by:

• optimally planning drivers, routes and available transport capacity;
• coordinating daily planning activities with drivers, carriers and internal departments;
• monitoring ongoing transport operations and responding immediately to disruptions or deviations;
• identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions to continuously improve planning processes.

Your team stands out within DSV because of its strong collaboration, informal atmosphere and fast-paced environment. You will join a team of 12 planners who support each other, share knowledge and work together every day to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

You bring

• mbo level working and thinking ability, where an education or experience in transport and logistics is an advantage but certainly not a requirement;
• a good command of the Dutch language and sufficient knowledge of English to communicate professionally;
• experience working with computer systems and a solid basic knowledge of Excel;
• flexibility to work in a rotating shift schedule and the willingness to work full-time on-site.
