As a warehouse manager, you and your team and fellow warehouse managers are responsible for all goods receipt, storage and dispatch for our customers, including value-added activities. You will be working in an innovative and dynamic environment. We are currently in the process of moving to our new site at Logistiek Park Moerdijk: a warehouse covering no less than 240,000 m² and the largest contiguous warehouse in the Benelux. You enjoy managing relocations, implementing new customers and helping to build the future of DSV: You’re on it. 

How you do this? You ensure the execution and optimization of the logistics process within our warehouses. You do this in such a way that the set production standards, deadlines, quality requirements, procedures, and regulations are met. You achieve this by:

• managing an average of 1 to 3 (senior) warehouse team leaders and indirectly overseeing 5 to 45 warehouse employees;
• directing, coaching, and supporting your team;
• coordinating your department’s logistics activities with those of other internal departments;
• providing management information based on pre-agreed targets and KPIs;
• monitoring operational performance in terms of both quality and quantity, with a strong emphasis on quality and security requirements, and taking corrective action when necessary;
• initiating and embedding continuous improvement in our operational processes.

You bring

• at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a logistics or production environment;
• a passion for logistics and the ability to inspire others;
• strong English communication skills, Dutch is a plus;
• a results-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and the confidence to stand by your opinions.
