At the beginning of 2026, part of our organization will move to an entirely new logistics DSV park in Moerdijk. Our warehouse there? It’s 240,000 m² in size! Are you ready for a major logistics planning challenge? Then this is your moment to shine. Filling schedules, matching employees, consulting with temp agencies, and making managers happy. Hoppa! Another planning puzzle solved. Nice work! And the best part: You’re on it.

How you do this? As a planning specialist for our operational employees and flexible workforce, you keep our operation running. A job with a lot of responsibility and freedom. You get the job done, and we count on you! From forklift drivers to logistics employees, you are the go-to person for deploying our blue-collar workforce. Based on forecasts and ad-hoc challenges, you perfectly align our staffing needs with both temp agencies and internal colleagues. You achieve this by: 

• collecting and analyzing staffing needs from our logistics operation. Using our workforce scheduling application Ortec, and based on employee competencies and availability, you create the personnel planning; 
• analyzing planning results and carrying out scenario planning. Based on this, you provide advice to warehouse managers and supervisors; 
• ensuring compliance with agreements made with our staffing partners. You analyze KPI reports and engage with these partners when there are gaps in the planning or structural shortages; 
• initiating improvement proposals based on nationwide consultations with your fellow planners. 

Your team stands out within DSV by its connecting role. You know exactly what’s happening on the work floor and are continuously updated and involved when it comes to staffing levels. As the linking pin between operations and our staffing partners, you ensure everything aligns seamlessly. Fortunately, you are not on your own. You bring

• experience in a similar role, such as resource planner, recruiter, or account specialist at a staffing agency; 
• preferably familiar with logistics processes. If not, passion and eagerness to learn are just as important to us; 
• dedication, you keep searching until you find the solution; 
• attention to detail and the ability to prioritize; 
• a good command of both Dutch and English.
