Switzerland is not part of the EU but has established policies to limit emissions from heavy-duty vehicles in urban areas. Cities like Zurich are implementing Low Emission Zones (LEZs) to restrict access for older vehicles, while the Swiss government is investing in electric vehicle infrastructure and promoting low-emission transport solutions.

In response to these developments, DSV is adapting by participating in our carbon offsetting programs and providing CO2 reports in both basic and detailed formats to support your sustainability reporting. More and more drivers are using the DSV Driver app, significantly reducing the need for paper printing during transportation. We are dedicated to supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 13 – Climate Action. Additionally, we are also excited to announce our partnership with Volvo to advance the decarbonization of road freight.
