Transportation services for import and export

  • Daily groupage transport: for smaller shipments up to 3,000 kg, ideal for up to 4 Euro Pallets (each not exceeding 1,000 kg).
  • Daily Less-than-Truckloads (LTL transport): for shipments over 3,000 kg that don’t require a full truck.
  • Daily Full-Truckloads (FTL transport): for larger shipments that fill an entire truck.
  • For heavier, dangerous, or out-of-gauge demands, we also provide tailored specialised transport solutions.

France has implemented Low Emission Zones (LEZs) in cities like Paris, where access for older heavy-duty vehicles (HDVs) is restricted to reduce pollution. The French government is enacting national regulations to reduce emissions and promote electric vehicles, offering various incentives and expanding charging infrastructure to facilitate the transition.

In response to these developments, DSV is adapting by implementing a company car policy that includes 100% electric vehicles and reducing emissions through renewable energy sources for our electric forklifts. We are expanding the number of biogas trucks and low-emission fuels (HVO, BioGas) in our operations. We look forward to launching Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) in France by the end of 2025, supporting our goal of having over 2,000 BEVs by 2030. We are also increasing the use of our Driver app to significantly reduce paper waste during transportation while supporting the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 13 – Climate Action. Furthermore, our partnership with Volvo enhances the decarbonization of road freight.
