Transportation services for import and export

Daily groupage transport: for smaller shipments up to 3,000 kg, ideal for up to 4 Euro Pallets (each not exceeding 1,000 kg).
Daily Less-than-Truckloads (LTL transport): for shipments over 3,000 kg that don’t require a full truck.
Daily Full-Truckloads (FTL transport): for larger shipments that fill an entire truck.
For heavier, dangerous, or out-of-gauge demands, we also provide tailored specialised transport solutions.

Transit times for transport between Hungary and the Netherlands are within 2-4 working days for FTL and LTL, and 2-5 working days for Groupage. Since several factors can influence transit times, we recommend contacting our experienced team for guidance in finding the most suitable shipping options and precise transit time information.

You can track your shipment’s location through the myDSV platform. It offers real-time tracking with Track & Trace and informs you of ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) two hours before pick-up or delivery.

Hungary has introduced Low Emission Zones (LEZs) in cities such as Budapest, targeting older heavy-duty vehicles to reduce emissions in urban areas. The Hungarian government is working on policies that promote electric vehicles, including financial support for purchasing electric trucks and investments in charging infrastructure to meet EU emission reduction goals.

In response to these developments, DSV is adapting by switching to environmentally friendly paper across operations and planning offsetting initiatives, such as planting trees near our warehouses. We are also actively transitioning to Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and increasing the use of our Driver app to minimize paper waste during transportation, all while supporting the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, our partnership with Volvo advances the decarbonization of road freight.
