While Turkey is not an EU member, major cities like Istanbul are exploring the introduction of Low Emission Zones (LEZs) to combat pollution from heavy-duty vehicles. The Turkish government is focusing on increasing electric vehicle adoption through incentives and is considering investments in charging infrastructure to improve air quality in urban areas.

In response to these developments, DSV is adapting by planning to launch Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) in Turkey by the end of 2025, supporting our goal of having over 2,000 BEVs by 2030. We are also increasing the use of our Driver app to significantly reduce paper waste during transportation while supporting the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, our partnership with Volvo enhances efforts toward the decarbonization of road freight.
