Managing and optimising inventory management for multiple customers! Working with your team to ensure maximum efficiency! You are part of the team!

How will you do this? As a supervisor inventory control, you will be responsible for managing the stock of multiple clients in a sophisticated multi-client environment in Maastricht. You will not be doing this alone, but together with your team of inventory controllers, cycle counters and a senior IC specialist. You will be the point of contact for stock discrepancies, process optimisations and location management projects. You will lead projects focused on location layout, mechanisation and optimisation of picking routes and contribute to (regional) standardisation of processes, reports and implementations. You will report directly to the site manager and work independently of operations. You will achieve this by:

• analyzing data, identifying incorrect bookings, and determining solutions;
• influencing decision-making on operational, client, and project levels;
• managing, coaching, and developing your team, consisting of a senior controller, inventory controllers, and cycle counters, overseeing talent development, absenteeism management, recruitment, and performance reviews;
• building a stable team within a rapidly growing and innovative site.

Your team stands out within DSV by its efficient communication and collaboration. As a supervisor inventory control, you have a lot of freedom and responsibility to multiple clients to ensure smooth operations. In short, you play a crucial role in the development of our logistics services.

You bring

• an MBO level 4 diploma with extensive experience as a supervisor, or a bachelor’s degree (HBO) with at least 2 years of experience in a comparable role;
• excellent communication skills in Dutch and English;
• demonstrable experience in stakeholder management and team leadership;
• strong analytical skills and experience with inventory management, location control, and process optimization;
• the ability to stand your ground, influence others, and lead change.
