You get it done

In this role, you’ll quite literally step into a new chapter: one building has been in use since 2024, and we’ve just received the keys to the other. You’ll have the unique opportunity to help build an optimally functioning facility environment from the ground up. Together with your colleague Willem, you ensure everything works and keeps working: you’re on it. 

How you do this? By resolving malfunctions yourself, responding to technical reports, and performing small to medium-sized maintenance. You’ll replace locks, repair fittings, check installations, and coordinate external parties for larger jobs. Always with safety and quality in mind. You achieve this by:

• independently resolving malfunctions and carrying out technical maintenance;
• identifying technical or facility-related issues and coming up with your own solutions;
• supervising external parties and overseeing the execution of their work;
• setting up and maintaining technical and facility services in both buildings.

Your team stands out within DSV by its close collaboration. You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit team at the Maastricht Airport location, but you’ll also work with facility colleagues at other sites and with departments such as QHSE, security, and procurement.

You bring

• experience in technical or facility work, for example as a technician, caretaker, or maintenance engineer;
• a hands-on mentality and the ability to work independently as well as in a team;
• a category B driving licence and willingness to work on-call shifts;
• a VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one via DSV;
• good command of Dutch, and basic English skills are a plus.
