Air freight to Mexico typically takes 2-7 days, depending on the chosen route and customs clearance. Sea freight from Rotterdam or Antwerp to major Mexican ports such as Veracruz, Manzanillo, and Lázaro Cárdenas usually has a transit time of 15 to 30 days, depending on the exact shipping route and weather conditions. For transport to and from Mexico, you typically need a commercial invoice, a packing list, a Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB), and possibly a certificate of origin. Specific products, such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and electronics, may require additional permits and must comply with regulations set by the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) and other Mexican government authorities.
