Daily groupage transport: for smaller shipments up to 3,000 kg, ideal for up to 4 Euro Pallets (each not exceeding 1,000 kg).
Daily Less-than-Truckloads (LTL transport): for shipments over 3,000 kg that don’t require a full truck.
Daily Full-Truckloads (FTL transport): for larger shipments that fill an entire truck.

For shipments between Lithuania and the Netherlands, transit times are generally 3-7 working days for FTL and LTL, and 3-8 working days for Groupage. In Lithuania, the government has initiated discussions around the establishment of Low Emission Zones (LEZs) in cities like Vilnius, with the goal of reducing emissions from older HDVs (heavy-duty vehicles). Lithuania is promoting electric vehicles by offering incentives for their purchase and is investing in expanding the charging infrastructure necessary for heavy-duty electric trucks. These efforts are part of the broader alignment with EU targets for a significant reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030.

In response to these developments, DSV is adapting by testing Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and utilizing alternative fuels such as HVO. We are also increasing the use of our Driver app to significantly reduce paper waste during transportation while supporting the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Moreover, our partnership with Volvo advances the decarbonization of road freight.
