Transportation services for import and export
- Daily groupage transport: for smaller shipments up to 3,000 kg, ideal for up to 4 Euro Pallets (each not exceeding 1,000 kg).
- Daily Less-than-Truckloads (LTL transport): for shipments over 3,000 kg that don’t require a full truck.
- Daily Full-Truckloads (FTL transport): for larger shipments that fill an entire truck.
- For heavier, dangerous, or out-of-gauge demands, we also provide tailored specialised transport solutions.

Shipments between Portugal and the Netherlands take 2-6 working days for FTL, 2-7 working days for LTL, and 3-9 working days for Groupage. Given that transit times depend on many factors, we encourage you to speak with our experienced colleagues who can help you identify the best solutions for your needs and provide precise transit times.

Portugal is establishing Low Emission Zones (LEZs) in cities like Lisbon, targeting older heavy-duty vehicles to improve urban air quality. The government is incentivizing the adoption of electric vehicles and investing in charging infrastructure to align with EU emissions reduction goals.
In response to these developments, DSV is adapting by participating in our carbon offsetting programs and providing CO2 reports in both basic and detailed formats to support your sustainability reporting. More and more drivers are using the DSV Driver app, significantly reducing the need for paper printing during transportation. We are also dedicated to supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, we are very excited to announce our latest initiative as DSV and Volvo sign an agreement to support the decarbonization of road freight.
