New CO2 toll collect in Germany from December 1 2023
In relation to the compensation of CO2 emissions, a new toll collect will be introduced in Germany from 1 December 2023.

The federal government in Germany recently decided to officially change the toll legislation and confirmed that a CO2 differentiation of the toll for heavy goods vehicles (HGV) will be introduced as of December 1, 2023 as well as the toll for HGV's with a technically permissible total mass (tzGm) of more than 3.5 tonnes as of July 1, 2024. These changes in legislation are beyond DSV's control and cause increased costs, which we unfortunately have to pass on to our customers.
