DSV Contract Logistics, Belgium establishes a Sustainability Board

DSV Contract Logistics NV, Belgium is proud to announce the installation of a Sustainability Board, marking a significant step in the commitment to a greener future. 

The newly formed Board will be responsible for monitoring, and centralising new sustainability projects across the organisation, ensuring that sustainable practices are structurally integrated into every aspect of our operations. The Board is chaired by Ludo Langen and led by Edwin Eggebeen as Managing Director, DSV Contract Logistics Belgium.

As global challenges continue to rise, it is our responsibility to take action and lead by example. The Sustainability Board will serve as a driving force to reinforce our dedication to responsible business practices and environmental stewardship. 
To strengthen its reach and impact, the Board will engage with owners; individuals who fund initiatives and take ownership over specific sustainability projects. This structure ensures clear accountability and encourages long-term engagement from across the business. In addition, the Board will act as a sponsor, providing strategic direction, removing barriers, and offering the necessary resources and visibility to enable the success of these projects.

Across our various entities, inspiring sustainability initiatives have already taken shape, serving as motivation for further action. The Board will facilitate cross-pollination of these initiatives, enabling the sharing of best practices and innovative ideas across the entire organisation.
