Additional Exclusions Extended on Some Tranche 2 Goods: Section 301 News

The USTR recently announced a new extension for some exclusions of List 2 of Section 301 through the end of the year.

The United States Trade Representative announced an extension for some exclusions on Tranche 2 of the Section 301 duties on goods from China.

The extension will only be effective from October 2 through December 31, 2020 and will notated with 9903.88.61.

HTS for the extended tariffs are: 


• Elastomeric petroleum resins (CAS No. 64742-16-1) (described in statistical reporting number 3911.10.0000)
• Machine tool stands having leveling, stabilizing, attachment or other special features (described in statistical reporting number 8466.30.8000)
• Electric motors, with an output of 18.65 W or more but not exceeding 37.5 W, with attached cables, designed for use in adjusting motor vehicle seats (described in statistical reporting number 8501.10.6080)
