Customs User Fee Changes for Fiscal Year 2023
US CBP has announced an update to the user fees for fiscal year 2023

US Customs and Border Protection has published an update to their User Fees in the Federal Register. The fees, which have been adjusted for inflation, will be implemented October 1, 2022.
US CBP and the Department of Homeland Security announced the adjustment of select customs user fees and limitations established by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) for Fiscal Year 2023 in accordance with the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (FAST).
The adjusted amounts of customs COBRA user fees and their corresponding limitations for Fiscal Year 2023 set forth below – increased by 6.87%. This calculation results in the base fees and limitations being adjusted to 18.629%.
Table 1 provides fees and limitations found in 19 CFR 24.22 as adjusted for Fiscal Year 2023, and Table 2 provides the fees and limitations found in 19 CFR 24.23 as adjusted for Fiscal Year 2023.
