DSV breaks new ground in central Ohio
DSV broke ground on a new facility in Ohio’s New Albany Tech Park, aimed at providing essential support for customers in the semiconductor industry and beyond. Upon completion, this facility will become our largest to date in North America, accommodating operations for air, sea, road, and warehousing service offerings.
New groundbreaking
Our DSV, North America team was on-hand to participate in the official groundbreaking of a new logistics facility in New Albany, Ohio. In cooperation with the site developer and officials from the city of New Albany, the ceremony took place on October 10, 2023.
This warehouse will span 1.2 million square feet and will support the semiconductor industry in what is known in the US as the Silicon Heartland.
“We said, 'we want to be there. Central Ohio is a place we want to be”, President of DSV North America Michael Marlow said during an interview with WSYX in September. “We want to support Intel and the other semiconductor vendors that will be there supporting Intel and help them be successful.”
New Albany, Ohio
The Albany Park site, which is slated for completion in Q1 2025, will be supported with air, sea, road, and warehousing service offerings. We anticipate employing up to 300 people there once the project is completed and fully operational.
This expansion represents DSV's commitment in serving the growing semiconductor industry in the region and will become a flagship site in North America.
