DSV celebrates grand opening of its new state-of-the-art 1.3 million square foot warehousing facility in Innisfil, Ontario

With 1.3 Million square feet of logistics space and fulfillment services, our new facility has been built with the latest in innovation and sustainability and potential LEED Certification. DSV Innisfil showcases our next level solutions for supply chain, warehousing development, economic strength, and infrastructure connectivity of goods flowing from the 400 highway to Toronto.

 Setting the standard for operational excellence & sustainability

Designed as a Class A, new construction facility, Innisfil positions us to support both Canadian customers and multinational partners growing across North America, " notes Rob Brace, Managing Director of DSV Contract Logistics, Canada.

With a 42’ clear height, the new facility will consume 28% less footprint that the traditional industry building height of 32’ clear height. At DSV, we are taking space efficiency even further by investing in dense automated storage systems. Both automation and 42' clear height will allow us to store 180,000 pallet positions in this facility, which is 50,000 more pallets than conventional racking. 

Sustainable features include: 
• Potential LEED Certification 
• Solar Panels will cover 15 per cent of roof, with the ability to produce 2.1 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year
• 100% LED lighting and local waste management guidelines
• Future-ready fully electrical building – Fitted with a 4000Amp transformer
• EV charging points for cars as well EV charged trucks at dock doors

Community Engagement & Impact

DSV's Innisfil facility represents meaningful job creation and economic investment in the Innisfil community and surrounding region. With operations ramping up, DSV expects to create approximately 225 permanent local jobs.
