Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment
Safeguarding the well-being and supporting the actions of our employees are essential to the success and future of DSV. The Policy's foundation is based on four main pillars: safe systems, safe people, safe equipment, and a safe workplace and promotes a healthy and safe physical and psychological working environment. It aims to reduce the risk of accidents, incidents and illness and applies globally to all employees, sub-contractors, customers and visitors when at our premises.
We are committed to giving back to the communities in which we work and helping people in need. We have a longstanding relationship with the Danish Red Cross and supported them in various ways, such as by making warehousing solutions available for their use.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have supported the Danish Red Cross' COVID-19 response. We have also supported the COVAX initiative, which aims to accelerate the development and manufacturing of COVID-19 vaccines and guarantee fair and equitable access for every country.
Through our collaboration with the Danish Red Cross, we have worked towards improving the climate. Over the last year, we have supported the Danish Red Cross' work towards improving the living conditions for the most vulnerable people affected by climate change through two different initiatives:
Climate Change Adaption is a project run by the Danish Red Cross to strengthen resilience-building initiatives, such as protecting farmland and crops from the impacts of climate change, improving access to clean water and diversifying nutritional intake.
The Forecast-based Actions Initiative aims to provide people with the help they need before severe flooding or other catastrophes strike hit by analysing meteorological data and releasing relief funds.

At DSV we are working tirelessly to strengthening our community engagement efforts and will continue to focus on supporting local communities and projects in the countries in which we operate. We will also forge partnerships with global parties to help us make a greater impact in our prioritised areas. Furthermore, we will leverage our community outreach efforts to promote stronger employee engagement initiatives.
