DSV reports good H1 results and strong cash flow, adapting to soft market conditions by leveraging its asset-light business model. Gross profit was down 14.2% and EBIT before special items 31.6% from last year's extraordinary results but compare favourably to pre-pandemic levels.
Arla, Danish Crown, DFDS and DSV have teamed up in a new partnership to develop a climate-neutral transport corridor between Denmark and the UK. The ambition for the partnership is to transport Arla’s and Danish Crown’s products from farms in Denmark to consumers in the UK with zero impact on the environment.
Global transport and logistics company DSV has launched a global funding programme to invest in sustainability initiatives across the organisation. The internal carbon pricing fee is charged to all DSV subsidiaries, and their contributions will be based on the level of CO2 emissions within their operations. The funds generated are being used to invest into innovation programmes and projects to accelerate DSV’s emissions-reduction initiatives.
