Updated information regarding port strike, May 27-31

Between May 27-31, there will be a break in the conflict with an estimated return to regular operations during the period, however with a backlog and capacity shortage after the strike, resulting in extended lead times.

Updated information regarding port strike, 27-31 May

As of today, 27 May, there is a break in the conflict between the Swedish Port Workers' Union and the Ports of Sweden. This means that we can expect regular operations from today until Sunday 1/6, when the Port Workers' Union has announced a new strike from 16:00, which will last until Tuesday 3/6 at 23:00.

However, due to previous strikes and cancelled departures, there is a backlog and capacity shortage on ships, resulting in extended lead times. In addition, Ascension Day also falls on Thursday, when the number of port workers in the Port of Gothenburg is limited.

Please contact your regular contact at DSV if you have any questions regarding your transports as above.

We will continue to keep you updated here on our website.
