DSV standard terms and conditions (in English)

BIFA Standard Trading Conditions

In case of conflict between these conditions, the BIFA Standard Trading Conditions shall prevail.  Your legal position is materially altered due to DSV’s limited liability in case of loss of, damage to or delay of your cargo.  DSV will furthermore obtain the right of lien over your cargo and all claims against DSV are time-barred after 9 months.

BIFA Standard Trading Conditions  (for Fairs & Events operations, other than where UKWA or RHA apply)

UKWA Contract Conditions  (for warehousing and any activity carried out at a warehouse)

RHA Conditions of Carriage  (for UK domestic road transport and road transport between UK and Ireland)

In case of conflict between #1 the DSV Standard Terms & Conditions; and #2 the (a) BIFA Standard Trading Conditions; (b) UKWA Contract Conditions; and (c) RHA Conditions of Carriage, the applicable terms of the latter #2 shall prevail over the DSV Standard Terms & Conditions.

Your legal position is materially altered due to DSV’s limited liability in case of loss of, damage to or delay of your cargo. DSV will furthermore obtain the right of lien over your cargo and all claims against DSV are time-barred after 9 months (BIFA and UKWA) and after 12 months (RHA).

Orders undertaken as carrier for overseas carriage are subject to conditions stipulated in the DSV Ocean Transport Bill of Lading/Sea Waybill. Your legal position is materially altered due to DSV's limited liability in case of loss of, damage to or delay of your cargo. DSV will furthermore obtain the right of lien over your cargo and all claims against DSV are time-barred after 9 months. We recommend that you review the full version of the DSV Ocean Bill of Lading before DSV's pick-up of your cargo - DSV Ocean Transport B/L.

Orders undertaken as carrier for carriage by air are subject to conditions stipulated in DSV's House Air Waybill. Your legal position is materially altered due to DSV's limited liability in case of loss of, damage to or delay of your cargo. All claims against DSV are time-barred after 2 years. We recommend that you review the full version of the DSV House Air Waybill prior to DSV's pick-up of your cargo - DSV House Air Waybill.

In case of discrepancy between the DSV Standard Terms & Conditions and the terms stipulated in the DSV Ocean Transport B/L or the DSV House Air Waybill, the terms of the DSV Ocean Transport B/L or the DSV House Air Waybill respectively shall prevail.
