Based at Baldonnell the new centre is strategically located and has been designed specifically with the needs of our healthcare customers in mind. It expands our already significant global footprint and ensures that we can provide fully compliant logistics solutions for even more healthcare organisations across the UK. Comprising 64,594 square feet of warehouse space, and with sustainability as a key focus, Baldonnell is an important development for key customers as well as an exciting milestone for DSV.
DSV Irelands temperature-controlled facility
Hosting a temperature-controlled solution in Ireland and GDP-certified climate control facilities catering for healthcare companies with the most stringent storage requirements and compliance standards. Baldonnell is available to multiple users at the same time, and is well suited for both large and small organisations who need to be able to scale their stocks quickly and cost effectively, to match their growth and operational circumstances.

The facility, which was certified as ‘Outstanding’, has been designed and constructed in accordance with the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) to achieve excellence in respect of water and energy efficiency.

Rainwater harvesting, sustainable drainage systems, solar modules and high-performance LED lighting with motion sensors will reduce the total power demand. Landscape buffers have been created with large-scale planting of native woodland species alongside wildlife habitats with wildflower buffers and roosting boxes for bats and nesting boxes for local birdlife.
