  • Take ownership of support cases from initial investigation through successful resolution.
  • Collaborate with Development, DevOps, SRE, and Quality Assurance teams to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
  • Monitor application performance, availability, and operational health using monitoring and observability tools.
  • Support incident management, problem management, and change management activities following ITSM best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and operational support frameworks.
  • Participate in an on-call support rotation to ensure 24/7 availability of critical business applications.
  • Maintain support documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to improve platform stability, functionality, security, and user experience.
  • Support solutions built on modern technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, MongoDB, and microservices-based architectures.

Education and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Strong understanding of application support processes, troubleshooting methodologies, and incident management practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native environments and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and tools.
  • Experience working with Atlassian products, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
  • Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Java, or similar is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Minimum Work Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, Technical Support, IT Operations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues involving multiple systems and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications and modern software architectures.
  • Experience working within Agile, DevOps, or cross-functional technology teams.
  • Understanding of incident management, service delivery, and operational support best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call support schedule outside standard business hours when required.
