DSV helps give better access to healthcare for millions of state patients
Best in class process and technologies support government objectives
Millions of state medical patients will benefit from the Department of Health’s partnership with DSV Healthcare to improve access to medicines for HIV/AIDS and other chronic medicines by 2020. The Centralised Chronic Medicines Dispensing and Distribution unit (CCMDD) is supporting National Health Insurance (NHI) objectives to improve and increase access to healthcare for patients in four provinces; Northwest, Gauteng, Free State and Eastern Cape.
DSV South Africa’s General Manager for Healthcare, Florian Menold, presented a case study at SAPICS 2019 which demonstrated how this public-private partnership is reducing waiting times, overcrowding at public healthcare facilities and improving the quality of medical care by applying best in class processes and technologies to support Government objectives.
