B-BBEE

At DSV, we believe that Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) helps deliver growth and sustainability in South Africa.

DSV South Africa (The Air & Sea Division) and The Road Division have more than 51% Black and more than 30% Woman ownership. As B-BBEE status level 2 companies, our procurement recognition level is 125%. The DSV Contract Logistics Division is a Level 1 company with 135% recognition level. All of our programmes are designed to contribute towards B-BBEE, growth and sustainability in South Africa. In addition to our ongoing commitment to train and develop our own staff, we support a significant number of previously unemployed learners each year. Our Enterprise & Supplier Development programme is a key focus area going forward, where we aim to identify, train and support Black entrepreneurs so they become sustainable suppliers to DSV and indeed other companies.

Making a difference to  local communities  We want to make a difference to  the communities where we operate, and we encourage local initiatives throughout our organisation to support this goal. While our local engagement and employee volunteering programmes vary from country to country,  they all seek to benefit local communities.
