One brick and training course at a time

DSV Panalpina A/S Chief Financial Officer, Jens H. Lund, visited South Africa recently and was pleased to see the pace at which construction was progressing at DSV Park | Gauteng – and he was also introduced to a skills training centre we have established for community members who live near our new headquarters.
DSV Park | Gauteng is situated near OR Tambo International Airport, in Ekurhuleni’s Ward 25, and the training programmes are open to people meeting the criteria who live in the ward.
As our new office and warehouse complex takes shape, so too has our commitment to the local community.
Through DSV’s Enterprise Development programme, we have partnered with accredited training service providers to provide various skills training courses such as forklift operator, driver, bricklaying, carpentry, electrician, plumbing, beauty and wellness.

Each learner will obtain a certificate at the end of the course, and we believe this opportunity will help many of these individuals obtain employment in the future.
