DSV's new logistics facility in Cape Town delivers world-class, integrated supply chain solutions

DSV's recently commissioned logistics facility in Cape Town brings all our people in the Western Cape together to deliver integrated and robust end-to-end supply chain solutions.

DSV Park | Cape Town is ideally situated next to Cape Town International Airport and the N2, placing us at the centre of economic gravity in the Western cape, and follows the commissioning of the landmark DSV Park | Gauteng facility between OR Tambo International Airport and Pretoria last year.  DSV Park | Durban is next in line with occupation planned for September 2023, and the investment in the three facilities demonstrates our total commitment to meeting South Africa's growing logistics and courier needs.

Our centralised facility in Cape Town is aligned with DSV's global strategy of consolidating office and warehouse space, and brings Road, Air & Sea, Solutions and Healthcare together under one roof.  The standardisation of business processes and investment in technology is improving efficiencies and operational quality as our people in different business units work alongside each other, collaborating, and sharing ideas.

Our facility incorporates best practice in environmental sustainability and business continuity.  We have followed global guidelines and specifications and focused on the people, technology, integration, and innovation necessary to optimise our service.

The single facility reflects our global strategy and design considerations.  The open-plan office layout enables collaboration while breakaway rooms provide privacy when needed, and there are training facilities, canteens, sleeping quarters for drivers and a truck wash area, fuel station and maintenance facilities.

The design and construction of the facility embraces environmental sustainability and building efficiency to minimise the carbon footprint and long-term operational impact on the environment.
