UPDATE 9/16: Tropical Storm Alert for New Orleans: DSV is Monitoring the Situation
DSV is monitoring the situation at the Port of New Orleans due to Tropical Storm Sally.
New Orleans: The Port of New Orleans is closed from Noon on Monday, September 14 through Wednesday, September 16. Breakbulk operations will close at 2:00 pm on Monday as well.
Update via portNOLA.com, 9/16: Terminal operations are scheduled to open on Friday. Officials are currently monitoring conditions and will phase the reopening of vessel operations as appropriate.
The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport remains open, though some flight cancellations have been reported.
It is likely that trucking operations from New Orleans and East along the US Gulf will be impacted.
