Customs user fees to be adjusted for fiscal year 2026

US Customs and Border Protection to increase COBRA user fees, effective October 1, 2025

US Customs releases adjusted COBRA fees for fiscal year 2026

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has published an update to their User Fees in the Federal Register. The fees, which have been adjusted for inflation, will be implemented October 1, 2025.

US CBP and the Department of Homeland Security announced the adjustment of select customs user fees and limitations established by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) for Fiscal Year 2026 in accordance with the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (FAST).

The adjusted amounts of customs COBRA user fees and their corresponding limitations for Fiscal Year 2026 as adjusted by 34.33% set forth below are required as of October 1, 2025.
