Expanding the supply chain to a new region

Mercurius recently set up the first operation in the United Arab Emirates with an aggressive five-year expansion plan for growth throughout the region.

JYSK needed it all – sea freight, warehousing and logistics of course, but DSV was also able to advise about local company registration and documentation. And as the conversations continued, DSV was able to offer customs clearance, “last mile” deliveries to stores and even set up a home delivery service with furniture assembly for the customer.

But most importantly for JYSK, DSV was able to optimize JYSK’s supply chain to keep costs down and help establish and build up their brand and promise locally, not least because they rely heavily on imports.

DSV in the UAE is now JYSK’s official transport and logistics partner, providing English-speaking delivery staff, uniformed teams and branded trucks.
