On March 28, the transport of components for ORLEN’s petrochemical investment project was completed. Two columns were delivered to the site of Poland’s largest muti-energy group: a 554 – tonne concentration tower and a smaller, 286-tonne C4 column. The preparation of the logistics plan and its execution – from collecting the cargo at the port in China, through sea transport to Gdańsk, transshipment of the columns onto barges and their voyage to Płock, to road transport to the final destination – was handled by the DSV – Global Transport and Logistics team. The expert responsible for carrying out the transport on behalf of the world’s largest logistics operator summarizes the project.
