DSV breaks ground on new 900,000-square-foot facility to expand its Laredo, Texas operations

DSV celebrated the start of building its newest facility in Laredo, Texas, on July 22, 2025, with a groundbreaking ceremony.

DSV celebrated the groundbreaking of its latest facility in Laredo, Texas, on July 22, 2025. Attendees included DSV team members, local officials, and the facility’s developer, Evans General Contractors. This property serves to solidify DSV’s position at the US-Mexico border and reinforces its commitment to cross-border logistics and warehousing solutions.

The nearly 900,000-square-foot high-tech facility represents a relocation and expansion of DSV Laredo’s existing operations, with the addition of Contract Logistics further strengthening this hub for warehousing and transportation across the US and into Mexico. It will support a variety of industries, including consumer products, technology, and industrial equipment. The warehouse design will boast advanced safety and security features, to ensure optimal protection for client assets.

Furthermore, DSV Laredo’s facility supports cross-border commerce through OptiMex, the company’s comprehensive US-Mexico cross-border logistics solution. With bonded and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) designations, the facility enhances service levels, reduces transit times, and improves cost efficiency.
