Customs Assistant

About the role

As a Customs Assistant, you will join our support desk and provide support to our customs department. You will assist our customs staff with administrative tasks and preparing reports.

Tasks:

• Verification of documents (authorizations, entries in national register number, ...);
• Preparation of reports in Excel (information from the internal customs system);
• Answering various questions from the client and internal departments regarding customs formalities
• Handling of customs documents
• Follow-up of non-cleared transit and export documents

Are you the perfect match?

• You have a first administrative experience and an interest in customs formalities (preferably already a first knowledge of customs)
• Plus if you have experience with compliance
• You are structured, organized and accurate
• You have a strong knowledge of Dutch and English
• You are a team player and enjoy working in an international environment
