Time Type: Full Time

Are you ready to lead property transactions and real estate endeavours that directly impact the operations of over 75,000 colleagues worldwide?

This is your chance to handle large-scale property projects that impact the future of the DSV infrastructure – all while enjoying working with helpful colleagues from a multitude of backgrounds and cultures.

”I enjoy the international aspect of the job and assisting our DSV’s operations when we deliver projects that optimise our property infrastructure in DSV Group ,” says Director of Group Property, Lasse Hansen.

Join us in Group Property

Together, we are 21 colleagues with professional backgrounds in law, finance, construction, engineering, and project management. We are based in Denmark, the US, and the Netherlands.

Working in 3 teams, Land Search, Construction and Transaction, we oversee real estate matters for the entire DSV Group, managing a diverse portfolio of over 1,500 properties across 90+ countries. We also work closely with our 6 colleagues from Group Legal who are based in Poland and Germany.

“You’ll be part of our Transaction team of 3 experienced colleagues and be based at our HQ in Hedehusene. So, you can look forward to spending your day in a very nice office with excellent facilities,” explains Lasse.

Run property transaction projects for our Logistic warehouses, terminals and office buildings

As our new Senior Project Manager, you will run 4-5 projects at a time once you have settled into your new job. But in the beginning, before you take full responsibility for a project, we will make sure you are introduced properly to the job through training, and you will always be welcome to liaise with one of your team colleagues.

Once you are up and running, you will:

  • Be responsible for property transactions from initiation to completion, including managing due diligence, contract negotiation and completion of sale and leaseback transactions
  • Work on the business cases related to our property portfolio ensuring that our property projects fulfil DSV’s global financial targets
  • Handle leases and provide advice on lease agreements to local country managers
  • Coordinate with stakeholders such as real estate investors, legal advisors, and internal directors

”Each country has its own special regulation or ways of doing things. You can’t be an expert in every single detail, so you have to identify potential issues in due time and make sure to take them up with the right people in your project team. Being a listed company it’s very important that our property projects are completed by deadline,” says Lasse.

Experience with property transactions and project management

In this job, you must be able to work with tight deadlines, running your projects independently but knowing when to reach out and ask or align with internal managers or stakeholders. Moreover, you can work with people from different cultures, and finally, we imagine that you:

  • Have an educational background in property management, finance, or law, such as an MSc in Business Administration with a focus on property management or equivalent
  • Are experienced in property transactions, including sale and leaseback transactions
  • Have some experience with project management
  • Have good IT skills in Microsoft systems, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Are fluent in the English language; proficiency in other languages is a plus
