The EDI Business Analyst will translate the customer’s business needs and requirements into technical solutions, as well as coordinating integration projects for EDI solutions under the end-to-end process. The position will require extensive collaboration with the various internal teams (Project Management, Development, QA and Support teams) as well as external customers and trading partners. You will be responsible for implementing project requirements into workable interfaces, enhancing existing EDI solutions, performing and writing test scenarios, enabling different system architectures to exchange automatic transactions, analyzing data interchange and customer technical specifications to deliver high business value IT solutions for both: internal and external customers around the globe.
Job Requirements:
Work as a liaison between the end-users/customers and developers to clearly define project requirements and document the resulting technical requirements.
Support business and the organization to identify any possible cooperation with the EDI department.
Maintain timely, efficient and proactive stakeholder communication regarding the daily tasks and projects.
Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the Development Team
Documentation of testing results, and support procedures to address at-risk issues and to make sure the solution works as designed.
Responsible for other reasonable and related duties as assigned.
Development of EDI mapping specifications using specialized software, GEFEG
Experience in end-to-end integration testing, production implementation and post implementation support
Monitoring own workload and deadlines,
Ability to share and co-work in development projects,
Creating new and modifying existing technical documentation,
Familiar with continuous integration
Very good communication skills in English
Experienced in an Agile and/or Scrum Framework
Required skillset:
IT experience as an EDI analyst, business analyst, support or similar IT background
Knowledge of at least one EDI standard : UN/EDIFACT or ANSI-X12
Basic knowledge of communication protocols: FTP,SFTP,HTTP,HTTPS,SMTP, and AS2
IBM Sterling Integrator basic knowledge (good to have)
Lightwell Framework basic knowledge (good to have)
Specification building, ideally with experience of GEFEG. (good to have)
Experience in working in Agile and/or Scrum Framework
Experience in multicultural self-organized teams
Experience in effectively communicating and building relationships with internal and external partners
Familiarity with operational processes in a freight forward environment
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and skills
Positive and effective customer support experience
Experience managing multiple projects and tasks
