Job Description:

  • Assist organizations in gathering and compiling necessary documentation and information required for AEO certification applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Stay updated with relevant international trade regulations, customs procedures, and AEO certification requirements to ensure that application submissions adhere to all applicable standards
  • Organize and maintain records of AEO certification applications, supporting documents, and correspondence with customs authorities, ensuring that all documentation is properly filed and readily accessible
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization seeking AEO certification and customs authorities or certification bodies. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather required information and coordinate application activities
  • Manage timelines and deadlines associated with the AEO certification process, ensuring that applications are submitted in a timely manner and that any requested revisions or additional information are provided promptly
  • Provide guidance and support to organizations throughout the AEO certification process, including training on AEO program requirements, documentation standards, and best practices for achieving certification

 

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in international trade, business administration, customs compliance, or a related field is typically required. Additional certifications or coursework in customs compliance or supply chain management may be beneficial
  • In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and AEO certification criteria is essential
  • Previous experience in preparation and submission AEO certification processes is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail is necessary in review and assess AEO certification requirements and identify compliance gaps
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines is essential for success in this role, particularly when coordinating activities across different organizations or departments
