Purpose of the job:

The IT Specialist is responsible for managing the lifecycle of assigned IT solutions and applications, ensuring they effectively support business objectives and operational requirements. The role acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to deliver stable, scalable, and cost-effective solutions. The IT Specialist drives continuous improvement, manages solution roadmaps, coordinates projects and changes, and ensures high service quality throughout the solution lifecycle.

 

Responsibility/ Tasks:

  • Own and manage the lifecycle of assigned IT solutions and applications
  • Act as the primary contact for business stakeholders regarding solution requirements and improvements
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into technical solution designs
  • Coordinate solution implementation, upgrades, releases, and change requests
  • Manage relationships with external software vendors and service providers
  • Monitor application performance, availability, and service quality
  • Coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities with IT support teams
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain solution roadmaps aligned with business strategy
  • Lead or support IT projects related to assigned solutions
  • Maintain solution architecture, documentation, and knowledge repositories
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams including Infrastructure, Security, Development, and Service Management

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT solution management, application management, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and responsibilities
  • Experience managing enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, HR systems, or other business-critical platforms)
  • Strong knowledge of agile software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc)
  • Experience working with external vendors and managing service delivery
  • Understanding of system integration, APIs, cloud technologies, and enterprise architecture concepts
  • Strong analytical and business process analysis skills
  • Strong customer and business orientation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven mindset
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams
