DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Transport in Sydney.
The position is responsible for arranging and directing the domestic transportation of international shipments of products both inbound and outbound to / from Sydney by compiling, completing and verifying the necessary forms and in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Your typical day at DSV:
Deliver a customer-first experience by ensuring all deliveries meet customer expectations, timelines, and KPI milestones.
Plan, prioritise, and coordinate domestic transport movements using the Transport Workbench to ensure efficient and timely execution.
Manage transport jobs end-to-end, balancing service excellence with cost efficiency to support profitability.
Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, providing accurate and timely updates.
Identify and resolve transport-related issues proactively (e.g. documentation, load requirements, or space constraints) to minimise disruptions.
Ensure accurate data entry and financial processing while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
About you:
Strong communicator with the ability to influence, present clearly, and challenge ideas constructively.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, meeting deadlines, and following procedures.
Confident and resilient, with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Skilled in problem-solving, data interpretation, and documentation.
Proven experience in Freight Forwarding, and proficient in CargoWise One and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
