We are looking for a Team Lead, Group Credit who will coordinate and develop a team of credit collection specialists responsible for strategic clients and critical processes while also handling one account. The role includes:

  • Supervise the team conducting thorough financial statement analyses to assess customer overdue, ensuring accuracy and resolution.
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure efficient processes and compliance with SLAs/KPIs.
  • Proactively managing risks and implementing continuous improvements.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Financial Analysis & Credit Risk Management Oversight

  • Supervise the team conducting thorough collection processes ensuring accuracy and resolution.
  • Investigate overdue accounts, identifying root causes and proposing permanent solutions.
  • Coordinate resolution of issues at a global level, involving relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the collection process, including monitoring global/regional overdue balances, ensuring invoice accuracy, and handling escalations.
  • Review escalations from credit analysts regarding potential problematic accounts and make final risk decisions.
  • Monitor overdue through ERP systems, ensuring credit limit blocks are effectively managed to minimize risk.

 

 

VIP Accounts Management and Escalations

  • Manage and provide strategic oversight for a portfolio of global VIP accounts, focusing on minimizing overdue balances and credit risk.
  • Lead investigations into overdue accounts, ensuring root causes are identified and sustainable corrective actions are implemented.
  • Coordinate and escalate complex credit and collection issues at the global level, liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise the collection process to ensure timely recovery, accurate invoice, and appropriate escalation of overdue balances.
  • Review and endorse weekly collection reports, driving continuous improvements based on data insights.

 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Foster strong collaboration with Global Account Directors, Account Managers, Group Credit, and operational teams to optimize credit and collection workflows.
  • Prepare and deliver high-level summary reports and presentations to senior stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Act as the escalation point for stakeholder concerns related to credit risk and account management.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics / Business Administration (accounting specialization is an advantage).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in credit management or O2C within an international environment.
  • Proven experience in team coordination and leadership.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting processes and their improvement.
  •  SAP FSCM (advantageous).
  • Strong analytical skills and financial statement interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credit management-specific systems.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent leadership and team motivation skills.
  • Ability to make quick, balanced decisions between risk and profitability.
  • Results-oriented and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationship management.
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure.
