About the role
As a Customer Service Agent, you will act as the primary point of contact for one of our industrial clients. You are responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of logistics operations. Working closely with the warehouse team and other internal departments, you will oversee the entire process while meeting service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs).
During quieter periods, such as the summer months, you will support the warehouse team with stock counts. It is therefore essential that you hold a forklift or reach truck certificate or are willing to obtain one through DSV.
Other tasks
· Administrative processing and follow-up of logistics services for assigned customers;
· Serving as the first operational contact person for assigned customers and as a liaison between the customer and internal departments (such as warehouse, customs, transport, ...);
· Following implemented processes and customer-related work instructions;
· Periodic consultation and adjustment moments with the customer;
· Handling complaints;
· Identifying potential problems/bottlenecks and brainstorming with the customer about solutions;
· Participating/thinking along in optimizing processes (continuous improvement).

Are you the perfect fit?
· You have initial experience in an administrative or customer-facing role;
· Experience in logistics or transportation is a strong asset;
· You are fluent in both Dutch and English;
· You are accurate, proactive, and solution-oriented;
· You are flexible to work between 8 AM and 6 PM;
· You hold a reach truck certificate or are willing to obtain one through DSV.
